moved to a tiling window manager so no-one but me will have any fucking clue how to use my laptop, ultimate opsec
@grufwub i3? Or something even more obscure?
@TheEnbyperor eh well technically it's dynamic, but I went with dwm as I really like the suckless coding philosophy
@grufwub fuck that looks nice, cba unlearning i3 though
@TheEnbyperor I did try sway, but getting it to play nice with other things isn't quite so easy since it's Wayland based
And dwm I think is pretty easy to configure to be similar. All options you configure before compile time, then run 'make clean install' and you're set π

@grufwub
xmonad FTW!
@anne am using dwm π
@grufwub I know a guy who had a Das Keyboard set to dvorak, and he was that confident that his password was just "password". Not recommended.
@qubyte oh my god π that's hilarious. Nah I have like 16+ character (all random ascii) passwords + disk encryption
@grufwub Yup, same where I can.
@qubyte dwm window manager is for my own personal preference -- I like the speed and simplicity π
@grufwub Whenever I'm on linux (rare these days because I'm lazy and use a mac most of the time) I like to go with something like dwm too. Great use of screen real estate and leet af.
@qubyte yeah the screen real estate is a big bonus too
it's sorta pointless working on stuff like this, but it's a neat distraction from other stressπ€·ββοΈ
