just went through a load of troubleshooting steps (including rebooting, cleaning caches, restarting containers) with my server, only to find out the invalid TLS certificates issue was isolated just to chrome 🤔
now even weirder... I rebooted my laptop [not by choice, it BSOD'd 😔 ], and now it's fixed
