@Zoe maybe it's just because taco bell is still A New Thing here, but i've been three times and it's been good every time? i mean i'm going in with the right expectations i think

@doe i mean it's decent american-mexican food. in the same way that imo you can always get a decent meal at places like subway for a similar price. there are better and worse foods. people picking a brand to hate because its cheap often smacks of classism to me. this reminds me i need to boost my subway ad as well

@doe lol my fav part of people like that is they are nowhere to be found denouncing dominos or pizza hut - or even olive garden as "not REAL italian food' - they are just looking for a dead horse to beat.

But yeah over here is a bit more expensive than subway or whatever but you do get a ton of stuff in the meal so

@doe also their app rules. it's buggy but i can pointlessly customize everything about my food and then just pull up to drive thru and be like - yep that - and they just make it for me. saves me feeling like a weirdo for having preferences
